Spring in Giethoorn

During a spring trip to the Netherlands, we stopped at a small village named Giethoorn.  Here streets are canals and homeowners use small boats for transportation.  Foot bridges connect land blocks.  The yellow boat, tied up along the canal, drew my interest and created a wonderful spring scene to paint about this unique town.
