Along the Saluda River in South Carolina, the fish were ignoring our lures, so we found a lovely spot to take a break. The warmth of the autumn sun threading through the trees framed our red rubber raft – a moment that begged to be painted.

“Taking a Break” captures that pause in life, reminding us to take time to enjoy the beauty of nature. Tranquility is to be savored.
